Wow what a full and week it has been! Are week long revival has touched the hearts of every one of are church members. We have all been bleats by Bro. Wayne Hudson. At Sunday nights sharing that was easy to see. As for me the Lord used this week to show me that I have been bearing him under all the junk in my life. I have been struggling with some things but this revival has helped me and beast me. Its time for me to let go and trust God, to stop worrying about things I can not change, to know that he’s the only one how can heal me from whatever it is I am going threw. And to stop looking arrowed for answers that I know I can’t find any ware but Lord. Friday night was really special for me. I was able to have Lyda come with us for the last night of revival. When I told her that Roni and I where going to sing a special, that was it we started making plans. To get her, spend all day together, go to church, have a sleepover party, and then have all day Saturday. And that’s just what we did! After dialysis Mom and I drove to Galveston to get her. I am so amazed that Mom was feeling up to it, that was a blessing in and of its self. It was so much fun to show her arrowed and just hangout for the day. God also touched her heart on Friday night right at the end I looked over to see that she was crying, with eyes full of tears and wet lashes at that moment I almost cried too. Later that night she told me that it had made her think about a lot of things that she needed to be thinking about. and that she was glad she came. She also said that she wishes that the church she go’s to was more like are church. And wow did that mean a lot! The sleepover was a blast!!!!! We stead up till 4.am watching scary movies, eating lots sweets. Giving each other an Altamont night at the spa with mud masks and all. Panting are toe nails, fun colors with added flower embellishments. Good old fashion girl stuff !
Saturday I was completely goofy. I direst up with a blond wig, a face mask, fairy wings and vampire teeth!
I have no idea of what I was going for but it was funny. (dressing up was not hollowing related it was just annoyingly on the same weekend) and I thought I might as well take advantage of the cheep costume excusers in all the stores. Looking at the pitchers I cant believe how ridicules I look, but Lydas face was worth every moment of embarrassment. Are fun ended all to soon. Dad tuck as bake in the truck, we would have fallen asleep if it wasn’t for the noise and how cramped the truck was. But all in all the weekend was the beast part. I hope to have her down again some time soon! How knows camping trip is just two weeks away, I just might be able to mange that. Well just have to wait and see!
